Role Overview (Scope of Role)
The Process Safety & Reliability Engineer is responsible for one of the 6 engineer disciplines within Trinseo: Production; Maintenance; Improvement; Process, Process Control, EH&S. Within each of the engineering disciplines, there are similar types of responsibilities / accountabilities (details may be different per discipline such as tools / methods used) but the general kind of responsibility is similar as well as the level of skills / knowledge required to do the job is the same. Responsibilities begin with unit operations and troubleshooting in multiple technologies across the entire process. To be successful, must have good communication & project management skills and must be able to provide leadership to the shop floor. Understanding the fundamentals of set up and the applicable tools / systems / processes related to the area of responsibility is also critical to success.
This will be an onsite role in Dalton, GA that will be eligible for a Monday-Friday shift or a 9/80 schedule. Additionally, this role will have on-call duties once every 3 weeks after candidate integrates into the position.
