The TS&D Engineering Specialist, CASE (Construction) is key to support business maintenance & growth by providing technical service to our customers and developing new business opportunities & products to new & existing customers to serve their needs with Trinseo Latex Binders.
This individual will ideally be able to reside in Midland, MI temporarily or travel each week to Midland, MI for the first 3 months of the role; going into the lab 3-5 days per week to receive training and learn Trinseo’s processes and equipment. Trinseo would provide temporary housing/accommodations and the ability to travel back to primary residence on weekends during this time.
If candidate is unable to accommodate weekly travel/residence in Midland, MI for the first 3 months, we can evaluate an alternative initial training plan for the individual to gather necessary training in the Midland, MI lab on a case-by-case basis.
After this initial 3-month period, the candidate would be expected to travel to Midland, MI for 1-2 weeks per month until our new lab in Exton, PA is fully operational which will be sometime in 2026-2027 most likely. Additionally, there could be additional travel to customer sites involved as the individual integrates in the role for the initial 6-12 months.
